We have impacted over 650 individuals, including students, families, and community members. By offering sign language courses and hearing screenings, we have expanded our direct impact by over 15% this year. When hearing individuals of the community become educated on deaf culture, sign language, and hearing health, it creates a safer and healthier environment for the deaf in Haiti.
300+ HEARING SCREENINGS
In 2024, the hearing clinic on Lifesong campus has seen over 300 children and adults for both hearing tests and hearing health concerns. We have a focus of early intervention, but we offer services to all ages in the area. This clinic has expanded our outreach to the immediate community and has brought awareness to hearing health.
100+ STUDENTS
Since our opening in 2013, we have welcomed over 100 students into our doors and brought them language for the first time ever. All of them received the Word of God in their own language, what millions of others have not yet experienced. These students have each walked a different path, some completing our Lifeskills program, some attending as adult students, and those in our primary school today.
